     Ludwig Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg was born on 20 October 1696 at Langenburg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.2 He was the son of Albrecht Wolfgang Graf zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Sophie Amalie Gräfin von Nassau-Saarbrücken.1 He married Eleanore Gräfin von Nassau-Saarbrücken, daughter of Ludwig Kraft Graf zu Nassau-Saarbrücken and Philippine Henriette Gräfin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, on 25 January 1723 at Schloss Lorentsen.1 He died on 16 January 1765 at age 68 at Langenburg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1 He was buried at Langenburg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1
