     Ellain MacCartie was the daughter of Cormac MacTeig MacCartie.1 She married, firstly, James Barry, son of Richard Barry and unknown O'Driscol, although this marriage was pronounced void.1 She married, secondly, Donal McCarthy Reagh, son of Fynin MacDermot Downe.2

     James Barry was the son of James Barry and Illin Downe.1 He died in 1507, at sea while returning from a pilgrimage, without issue.1,2
     James Barry lived at Ibawne, Ireland.1 He gained the title of Baron of Ibawne [feudal baron].2 James Barry also went by the nick-name of James Barry roe.1
