     Neil Lutley Sclater-Booth, 5th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington was born on 16 January 1939.1 He was the son of George Lutley Sclater-Booth, 4th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Jeannette MacKelvie.1 He married Patricia Ann Whitfield, daughter of George Bryan Whitfield, on 16 September 1967.1 He died on 24 November 2007 at age 68.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Basing of Basing Byflete and of Hoddington, both in co. Southampton [U.K., 1887] on 18 September 1983.1 He was a director of Ackroyd & Smithers (NYC.)3 He lived in 1999 at 112 East 74th Street, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.G.3

     Patricia Ann Whitfield is the daughter of George Bryan Whitfield.1 She married Neil Lutley Sclater-Booth, 5th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington, son of George Lutley Sclater-Booth, 4th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Jeannette MacKelvie, on 16 September 1967.1
     From 16 September 1967, her married name became Sclater-Booth.1 After her marriage, Patricia Ann Whitfield was styled as Baroness Basing of Basing Byflete and of Hoddington on 18 September 1983.

Thomas Cranley Onslow and Susannah Elizabeth Hiller, on 11 July 1848.1,4 She died on 7 November 1880 at age 60.3
