     Captain Mason Hogarth Scott was born on 11 August 1900.2 He is the son of Charles Thomas Scott and Jane Davidson Milvain.3 He married Hon. Irene Florence Seely, daughter of John Edward Bernard Seely, 1st Baron Mottistone and Emily Florence Crichton, on 11 June 1924.4 He died on 25 May 1971 at age 70.2
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.4 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.3 He was , Naval Attaché Madrid , Chm Rahere Assoc (Friends of St Bart's Hosp), Jt MFH N Cotswold 1961–65 in 1944.2
