     Hon. Emily Grace Seely was born on 18 January 1898.1 She is the daughter of John Edward Bernard Seely, 1st Baron Mottistone and Emily Florence Crichton.1 She married Lt.-Col. Archibald Ogilvie Lyttelton Kindersley, son of Captain Henry Wasey Sextus Kindersley, on 28 August 1937.1
     From 28 August 1937, her married name became Kindersley.1 She held the office of County Councillor for the Isle of Wight between 1956 and 1967.1
