     Lieutenant Arthur Reginald Armstrong was the son of Sir George Carylon Hughes Armstrong, 1st Bt. and Alice Fitzroy Furlong.1 He died on 1 November 1898 at Secunderabad.1
     Lieutenant Arthur Reginald Armstrong gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 19th Hussars.1

     Sir Edward Folmer Archdale, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 September 1921.1 He is the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Nicholas Edward Archdale, 2nd Bt. and Gerda Henriette Sievers.1 He married Elizabeth Ann Stewart Lukis, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Wilfred Boyd Fellowes Lukis, on 24 July 1954.1 He and Elizabeth Ann Stewart Lukis were divorced in 1978.1
     Sir Edward Folmer Archdale, 3rd Bt. was educated at Copthorne School, Copthorne, Sussex, England.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.1 He was decorated with the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1943.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Archdale, of Riversdale, co. Fermanagh [U.K., 1928] on 28 July 1955.1
