     David Taylor Arnott was born on 28 April 1855.1 He was the son of Sir John Arnott, 1st Bt. and Mary McKinlay.1 He married, firstly, Ethel Marion Napier Bell, daughter of Captain Frederic John Bell, in 1890.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Emma Girdwood, daughter of John Girdwood, on 11 December 1895.1 He died on 22 July 1915 at age 60.1

     John Frederic Arnott was born on 2 June 1892.1 He was the son of David Taylor Arnott and Ethel Marion Napier Bell.1 He married Phyllis Cundell, daughter of James Cundell, on 23 April 1919.1 He died on 10 January 1967 at age 74.1
     John Frederic Arnott was educated at Bradfield School, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Wiltshire Regiment.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Saskatchewan Regiment.1
