     Lt.-Col. Sir William Arnot, 7th Bt. was the son of Major William Arnot.1 He married Mary Nash, daughter of Richard Nash and Elizabeth Treadway.1 He died on 19 July 1782 at Powick, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1 He was buried at Powick, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 25 February 1780) was proven (by probate) on 28 September 1782.1
     He gained the rank of officer in 1735 in the British Army.1 He was styled as 7th Baronet Arnot, of Arnot, co. Fife [N.S., 1629] on 5 June 1767.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1779 in the 2nd (Queen's) Dragoon Guards.1

     Mary Nash was born on 19 February 1716/17.1 She was the daughter of Richard Nash and Elizabeth Treadway.1 She married Lt.-Col. Sir William Arnot, 7th Bt., son of Major William Arnot.1 She died on 6 March 1783 at age 66.1 She was buried at Powick, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1
     Her married name became Arnot.1 Her last will was dated 13 July 1782 leaving the estate of Orleton, Worcestershire to her brother, Dr. Nash.1

Helen Butler.1 He died on 28 March 1626.1 He was buried at St. Mary's Church, Island of Iniscaltra, IrelandG.1 His will (dated 19 March 1625) was proven (by probate) in 1626.1
     He was also known as MacBrian-Arragh.1 He was created 1st Baronet Arragh, of Dough-Arragh, co. Tipperary [Ireland] on 27 February 1623/24.1
