Reverend Sir John Ashburnham, 7th Bt. was born on 26 December 1770 at Scotland Yard, Westminster, London, England.1 He was the son of Sir William Ashburnham, 5th Bt. and Alicia Woodgate.1 He married, firstly, Fanny Foster, daughter of William Foster, on 4 July 1804 at Hollington, St. Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, England.1 He married, secondly, Anne Harman, daughter of Thomas Harman, after 1838.1 He died on 1 September 1854 at age 83 at Guestling Rectory, Guestling, Sussex, England.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered in September 1854.1
