     Laurence Piers Ashburnham was born on 15 July 1875.1 He was the son of John Woodgate Ashburnham and Julia Letitia Merriman.1 He married Sarah Agnes Kirkbride, daughter of Major Thomas Warcup Kirkbride, on 25 October 1926.1 He died on 21 May 1951 at age 75, without issue.1
