     Sir Henry Bacon, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Butts Bacon, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Warner.1 He married Barbara Gooch, daughter of William Gooch and Martha Layer.1 He died before 1671.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] on 29 May 1661, and 'of Heringfleet, co. Suffolk.1'

     Sir Henry Bacon, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Bacon, 2nd Bt. and Barbara Gooch.1 He married Sarah Castleton, daughter of Sir John Castleton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Morse, on 29 June 1671 at Sturston, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He died circa January 1685/86.1 He was buried on 13 January 1685/86 at Gillingham, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     He inherited the Gillingham estate from his sister's husband, Sir Richard Bacon, 3rd Bt.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] before 1671, and 'of Heringfleet, co. Suffolk' and 'of Gillingham, Norfolk.1'

     Sarah Castleton was the daughter of Sir John Castleton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Morse.1 She married Sir Henry Bacon, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Henry Bacon, 2nd Bt. and Barbara Gooch, on 29 June 1671 at Sturston, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 She died on 3 February 1727.1 She was buried on 7 February 1727 at Gillingham, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     From 29 June 1671, her married name became Bacon.1

     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Castleton, of St. Edmondsbury, co. Suffolk [E., 1641] circa 1643.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Suffolk from 1660 to 1661.2

     Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. was baptised on 6 April 1672 at Sturston, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Bacon, 3rd Bt. and Sarah Castleton.1 He married, firstly, Philippa Bacon, daughter of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Crane, circa 25 December 1688 at Redgrave, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Mary Castell, daughter of John Castell, on 16 April 1713 at Raveningham, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He died on 10 July 1721 at age 49.1 He was buried on 17 July 1721 at Gillingham, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] in January 1685/86, and 'of Gillingham, Norfolk.1' He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Orford between 1700 and 1708.1
