      From 16 March 1919, her married name became Christie.1

     Major William Francis Christie was the son of Dugald Christie.1 He married Cecil Marguerite Bailey, daughter of Colonel Sir Abe Bailey, 1st Bt. and Caroline Mary Paddon, on 16 March 1919.1 He died in May 1948.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1

     James Richard Abe Bailey was born on 23 October 1919.1 He is the son of Colonel Sir Abe Bailey, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Westenra.1 He married, firstly, Gillian Mary Parker, daughter of John Kilgour Parker, in 1958.1 He and Gillian Mary Parker were divorced in 1963.1 He married, secondly, Barbara Louise Epstein, daughter of Harry Epstein, on 16 April 1964.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He was invested as a Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) in 1944.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1947 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1
