Sir George Edward Dunstan Sherston Baker, 4th Bt. was born on 19 March 1846.1 He was the son of Henry Sherston Baker and Maria Martha Burke.1 He married Mary Fegen, daughter of James Fegen, on 3 June 1873.1
Sir George Edward Dunstan Sherston Baker, 4th Bt. was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1871 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Baker, of Dunstable House, in Richmond, Surrey [G.B., 1796] on 12 February 1877.1 He was an associate of the Institût de droit International in 1879.1 He held the office of Recorder of Helston between 1886 and 1889.1 He held the office of Recorder of Barnstaple and Bideford in 1889.1 He held the office of Judge of the County Courts in 1901.1
