     Henry Barran was born on 5 October 1856.1 He was the son of Sir John Barran, 1st Bt. and Ann Hirst.1 He married Rosalie Mary Flower, daughter of Edgar Flower and Isabella Sophia Dennis, on 10 February 1891.1 He died on 7 May 1942 at age 85.1
