     Major Edmund Musgrave Barttelot was born on 28 March 1859.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Barttelot, 1st Bt. and Harriet Musgrave.1 He died on 19 July 1888 at age 29 at Central Africa, assassinated.1
     Major Edmund Musgrave Barttelot fought in the Second Afghan War.1 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign.1 He fought in the Emin Pasha Expedition, in Africa.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 1st Battalion, R.F.1
