     2nd Lt. Vernon Savile Beevor was born on 21 June 1897.1 He was the son of Ralph Jermy Beevor and Sophia Mary Preston.1 He died on 10 March 1917 at age 19, killed in action.1
     2nd Lt. Vernon Savile Beevor was educated at Felsted School, Essex, England.1 He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the 14th Battalion, Essex Regiment.1

     From before 1953, her married name became Gray.1 From 1 May 1953, her married name became Beevor.1
