     Grace Shuckburgh was born circa 1640 at Kenilworth Castle, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Sir Richard Shuckburgh and Grace Holte.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Bernard, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Bernard, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Tallakerne, on 30 August 1670.1 She died before 1721.1 Her will was probated in 1721.1
     From 30 August 1670, her married name became Bernard.1 Her married name became Marrett.1
