     Alan Bellingham was the son of Thomas Bellingham and Margery Beck.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Sandford, daughter of Thomas Sandford. He married, firstly, Katherine Ducket, daughter of Anthony Ducket.1 He died on 7 May 1577.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland.1 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple.1 He lived at Helsington, Westmorland, England.1 He lived at Levens Hall, Kendal, Cumberland, England.1
     He had four other daughters and four elder sons.1

     Alan Bellingham is the son of Robert Bellingham and Elizabeth Tunstall.1 He married Elizabeth Gilpin, daughter of William Gilpin.
     He held the office of Treasurer of Berwick.1 He held the office of Deputy-Warden of the Marches.1 He lived at Bellingham, Northumberland, England.1 He bought Levens, near Kendal, and built a masnion there.1

     Sir Roger Bellingham was the son of Sir Roger Bellingham.1 He died, without male issue, when Burnside was sold.1
     He fought in the Battle of Stoke in 1487, where he captured Lambert Simmel.1
