Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham was born on 5 April 1853.1 He was the son of William Johnstone Bellingham and Felicia Hewett.1 He married Helen Mary Dunlop, daughter of A. A. Dunlop, on 3 March 1880.1 He died on 5 November 1893 at age 40.1

Major Alan Mure Bellingham was born on 21 February 1881.1 He was the son of Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham and Helen Mary Dunlop.1 He married, firstly, Beatrix Laura Harrison, daughter of John Henry Harrison, on 15 August 1914.1 He and Beatrix Laura Harrison were divorced in 1930.1 He married, secondly, Mabel Theodora Lucy Dury, daughter of Theodore Seton Dury, on 3 July 1930.1 He died on 19 September 1946 at age 65.1
Major Alan Mure Bellingham gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Middlesex Regiment.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Ulster Rifles.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Russian Civil War in 1919, in the North Russia campaign.1 He was decorated with the award of Order of St. Vladimir of Russia (2nd class with swords and ribbons).1
