     Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham was born on 5 April 1853.¹ He was the son of William Johnstone Bellingham and Felicia Hewett.¹ He married Helen Mary Dunlop, daughter of A. A. Dunlop, on 3 March 1880.¹ He died on 5 November 1893 at age 40.¹
     Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham gained the rank of Major in the service of the Duke of Cambridge's Own.¹

     Helen Mary Dunlop was the daughter of A. A. Dunlop.¹ She married Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham, son of William Johnstone Bellingham and Felicia Hewett, on 3 March 1880.¹ She died in 1950.¹

     Major Alan Mure Bellingham was born on 21 February 1881.¹ He was the son of Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham and Helen Mary Dunlop.¹ He married, firstly, Beatrix Laura Harrison, daughter of John Henry Harrison, on 15 August 1914.¹ He and Beatrix Laura Harrison were divorced in 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Mabel Theodora Lucy Dury, daughter of Theodore Seton Dury, on 3 July 1930.¹ He died on 19 September 1946 at age 65.¹
     Major Alan Mure Bellingham gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Middlesex Regiment.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Ulster Rifles.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.¹ He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹ He fought in the Russian Civil War in 1919, in the North Russia campaign.¹ He was decorated with the award of Order of St. Vladimir of Russia (2nd class with swords and ribbons).¹

     Beatrix Laura Harrison was the daughter of John Henry Harrison.¹ She married Major Alan Mure Bellingham, son of Major Sydney Edwin Bellingham and Helen Mary Dunlop, on 15 August 1914.¹ She and Major Alan Mure Bellingham were divorced in 1930.¹ She died on 26 August 1962.¹
     From 15 August 1914, her married name became Bellingham.¹

     Beatrix Pamela Bellingham-Kiggell was born on 28 July 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Major Alan Mure Bellingham and Beatrix Laura Harrison.¹ She married, firstly, Ronald Arthur Cleave, son of Lt.-Cdr. John Raymond Cleave, on 19 March 1938.¹ She and Ronald Arthur Cleave were divorced in 1946.¹ She married, secondly, John Chatterton Coysgarne Sim, son of Alexander Chatterton Sim, on 12 December 1947.¹ She and John Chatterton Coysgarne Sim were divorced in 1962.¹

     Ronald Arthur Cleave was adopted by Lt.-Cdr. John Raymond Cleave.
