     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Ward was the son of Joseph Ward.1 He married Lady Kathleen Lowry-Corry, daughter of Somerset Richard Lowry-Corry, 4th Earl Belmore and Anne Elizabeth Honoria Gladstone, on 7 May 1919.1 He died on 16 January 1949.1
     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Ward lived at Brynhir, Criccieth, Caernarvonshire, Wales.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the Queen's Bays.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1
