     Sir Simon Bennett, 1st Bt. was born circa 1584.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Bennett and Mary Taylor.1 He married Elizabeth Ingram, daughter of Sir Arthur Ingram and Susan Brown, before December 1624.1 He died on 21 August 1631, without issue.1 He was buried on 22 August 1631 at Beachampton, Buckinghamshire, England.1 His will (dated 15 August 1631) was probated on 3 September 1631.1
     Sir Simon Bennett, 1st Bt. matriculated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 15 October 1602.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1605.1 He was created 1st Baronet Bennett, of Beuchampton, co. Bucks [England] on 17 July 1627.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
