     Lt.-Col. David Michael Peirse Lowe was born on 22 March 1944.1 He is the son of Colonel Peter Anthony Lowe and Anne Ethel Mary Beresford-Peirse.1 He married Catherine Lily-Mare Peek, daughter of Leonard Arthur Peek, on 1 January 1968.1
     Lt.-Col. David Michael Peirse Lowe was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
