     Lady Margaret Murray was born in 1581.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Murray, 1st Earl of Tullibardine and Catherine Drummond.2,3 A contract for the marriage of Lady Margaret Murray and Sir James Haldane, 10th of Gleneagles was signed on 26 January 1600.1 She died in December 1617.1
     From 26 January 1600, her married name became Haldane.1

     Sir James Haldane, 10th of Gleneagles was the son of John Haldane, 9th of Gleneagles and Isobel Home.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir James Haldane, 10th of Gleneagles and Lady Margaret Murray was signed on 26 January 1600.1 He died in 1624.1
     Sir James Haldane, 10th of Gleneagles was a Commisioner for the Barons in Parliament in 1609.1 In 1609 he sold lands of Ardewnan, with the fishing rights in Loch Tay, to James Campbell of Lawers, father of 1st Earl of Loudoun.1
