     Ian Douglas Baring was born on 5 October 1915 at Devon, England.2,1 He was the son of Arthur Francis Charles Baring and Margaret McIntyre Moore.1 He married Doris Mary Emily Luckhurst in 1937.1 He died on 28 November 1969 at age 54, killed in a car accident.1
