     Alan Roger Birdwood was born on 27 January 1862.1 He was the son of Sir George Christopher Molesworth Birdwood and Frances Anne Tolcher.1 He married Anna C. Ewing, daughter of Reverend S. C. Ewing, in December 1892.1 He died on 15 October 1944 at age 82.1
     Alan Roger Birdwood was in the Khedive of Egypt's Service.1
