Gordon Travers Birdwood was born on 24 January 1867.1 He was the son of Herbert Mills Birdwood and Edith Marion Sidonie Impey.1 He married, firstly, Dora Davis, daughter of John Samuel Champion Davis, in 1902.1 He married, secondly, Alice Caroline Finlay, daughter of Colonel Henry Thomas Finlay, after 1905.1 He died on 14 April 1945 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He graduated with a Diploma in Public Health (D.P.H.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.1 He fought in the Arbor Expedition, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Chitral Campaign.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign.1

Sir Thomas Bilbe Robinson was born on 24 November 1853 at Rotherhithe, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of Robert William Robinson and Frances Sarah Bilbe.2 He married Elizabeth Phoebe Jane Sarah Jobling on 21 October 1876 at London, England.2 He married Rosa Hannah Cowell on 6 May 1903 at Broadstairs, Kent, England.2 He died on 15 May 1939 at age 85 at Redriff, Broadstairs, Kent, England.2
