     Edith Jane Birdwood was born circa 1863 at Bombay, India.2 She was the daughter of Herbert Mills Birdwood and Edith Marion Sidonie Impey.1 She married General Sir Robert Charles Ochiltree Stuart, son of Lt.-Col. Robert Arthur Walter Charles Stuart and Louisa Frances Burton, in 1885.1 She died on 6 January 1936.1
     From 1885, her married name became Stuart.1

General Sir Robert Charles Ochiltree Stuart1

     General Sir Robert Charles Ochiltree Stuart was born on 22 August 1861.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Arthur Walter Charles Stuart and Louisa Frances Burton.2 He married Edith Jane Birdwood, daughter of Herbert Mills Birdwood and Edith Marion Sidonie Impey, in 1885.1 He died on 14 October 1948 at age 87.1
     He fought in the Burma War between 1885 and 1887.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.2 He held the office of Director-General of Ordnance, India in 1911.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) in 1917.2

Hon. Constance Jean Gonville Birdwood1

     Hon. Constance Jean Gonville Birdwood was the daughter of Field Marshal William Riddell Birdwood, 1st Baron Birdwood and Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead.1 She married Frank Colin Craig, son of Frank Craig, on 5 March 1919.1 She died on 19 October 1975.1
     Hon. Constance Jean Gonville Birdwood usually went by her middle name of Nancy.1 From 5 March 1919, her married name became Craig.1

     Frank Colin Craig was the son of Frank Craig.1 He married Hon. Constance Jean Gonville Birdwood, daughter of Field Marshal William Riddell Birdwood, 1st Baron Birdwood and Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead, on 5 March 1919.1 He died in September 1951.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.1

Judith Horatia Birdwood is the daughter of Field Marshal William Riddell Birdwood, 1st Baron Birdwood and Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead.1 She married, firstly, Roger William Colville-Wallis, son of Reverend William Colville-Wallis, in September 1939.1 She and Roger William Colville-Wallis were divorced in 1947.1 She married, secondly, Rudolph Putnam Messel, son of Harold George Messel and Leonora Putnam Gibson, on 23 October 1947.1
     From September 1939, her married name became Colville-Wallis.1 From 23 October 1947, her married name became Messel.1
