     David de Courcy, 8th Lord Courcy of Kinsale is the son of Nicholas de Courcy, 5th Lord Courcy of Kinsale and Móre Finn.1 He married Joan Roche, daughter of Edmond Roche.1
     He was the Rector at Ringrone, County Cork, Ireland.1 He held the office of Archdeacon of Cork.1 He was the Rector at Kilgobban, Ireland.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] circa 1500, after displacing his idiot nephew.1

     Nicholas de Courcy, 5th Lord Courcy of Kinsale was the son of Patrick de Courcy, 4th Lord Courcy of Kinsale and Anastasia (?).1,2 He married Móre Finn, daughter of O'Mahony Finn.1 He died in 1474.1
      Nicholas de Courcy, 5th Lord Courcy of Kinsale also went by the nick-name of 'Captain of his nation'.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] after November 1419.1

     Patrick de Courcy, 4th Lord Courcy of Kinsale was the son of John fitz Miles de Courcy, 2nd Lord Courcy of Kinsale.1 He married Anastasia (?).1 He died after 27 November 1419.1
     He succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Courcy of Kinsale [I., c. 1340] after 1399.1 On 27 November 1419 he setteld his lands on his son.1 He seems to have been son of a John, hence was possibly brother of William, 3rd Lord Courcy, but may alternatively have descended from another of the remaindermen of 1358.1

     Miles fitz Miles de Courcy, 1st Lord Courcy of Kinsale was the son of Miles de Courcy and Joan (?).1,2 He married, secondly, Margaret Wogan.1 He died after October 1363, without issue.1
     He was created 1st Lord Courcy of Kinsale [Ireland] circa 1340, also known as ‘Lord of Ringrone and Kinsale.1' Between June 1358 and November 1360 he entailed his lands by various settlements, in default of issue of his own, on his brother-in-law Sir Nicholas de Courcy.1
