     Sir Nigel Cyprian Bridge, Baron Bridge of Harwich was born on 26 February 1917.¹ He was the son of Commander Cyprian Dunscomb Charles Bridge.¹ He married Margaret Swinbank, daughter of Leonard Heseltine Swinbank, in 1944.¹ He died on 20 November 2007 at age 90.²

     Margaret Swinbank is the daughter of Leonard Heseltine Swinbank.¹ She married Sir Nigel Cyprian Bridge, Baron Bridge of Harwich, son of Commander Cyprian Dunscomb Charles Bridge, in 1944.¹
     From 1944, her married name became Bridge.¹ As a result of her marriage, Margaret Swinbank was styled as Baroness Bridge of Harwich in 1980.
