     William Clarke Wontner was born on 17 January 1857 at 28 Park Road, Stockwell, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of William Hoff Wontner and Catherine Smith.1 He married Jessie Marguerite Keene, daughter of Charles Joseph Keene, on 7 June 1894 at St. Dominic's Priory Church, Naverstock Hill, Hampstead, Middlesex, England.1 He died on 23 September 1930 at age 73 at Worcester, Worcestershire, England, without issue.1 He was buried on 26 September 1930 at Ripple, Worcestershire, England.1
