     Percy Wontner-Smith was born on 27 January 1876 at Brecknock Road, Tufnell Park, London, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Arthur Smith and Emily Mary Smith.1 He married Alianore Kathleen Clay, daughter of Arthur Cecil Clay and Helena Ann Knutson, on 27 April 1916 in a St Mary the Virgin, Monken Hadley, Barnet, Hertfordshire, England marriage.1 He died on 24 October 1949 at age 73 at 106 Chandos Avenue, Whetstone, Middlesex, England.1
     Percy Wontner-Smith was a District Valuer, Board of the Inland Revenue between 1910 and 1948.1 He was admitted to Freeman of the City of London in 1930.1
