     Catherine Shimmin was born in 1802 at German, Isle of Man.1 She is the daughter of John Shimmin and Catherine Wattleworth.1 She married Robert Quayle on 18 January 1823 at Kirk German, Isle of Man.1
     From 18 January 1823, her married name became Quayle.1
