     Annie Quayle Moore was born in 1843 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.2 She was the daughter of George Henry Moore and Anne Kermode.1 She married Joseph Henry Townend on 15 September 1900 at St. Barnabas, Fendalton, Christchurch, New Zealand.2 She died on 16 May 1914 at Christchurch, New Zealand.2
     From 15 September 1900, her married name became Townend.2
