     Robert Lowther was born in 1713 at County Westmeath, Ireland.1 He was the son of William Lowther and Martha (?).1 He married Aquilla Reese, daughter of Joseph Reese and Rebecca (?), on 20 February 1735/36 at First Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A..1 He died circa 1780.1
