     Mary Lowther was born circa 1725 at County Westmeath, Ireland.1 She is the daughter of William Lowther and Martha (?).1 She married Samuel Simpson on 2 August 1745 at Buckingham Meeting House, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, U.S.A..1
     From 2 August 1745, her married name became Simpson.1
