     Amanda Jane Young was born on 4 November 1980 at New Zealand.¹ She is the daughter of Stephen Radcliff Young.¹

     Evelyn May Young was born on 31 May 1897 at Pitcairn Island.¹ She is the daughter of Arthur Herbert Young and Adella Schmidt.¹ She was buried on 10 December 1924 at Pitcairn Island.¹

     Roy Palmer Clark was born on 2 October 1893 at U.S.A..¹ He married Hyacinth May Coffin, daughter of Philip Cook Coffin and Mary Jane Florence Warren, in 1913 at Pitcairn Island.¹ He died on 10 May 1980 at age 86 at Pitcairn Island.¹
     Along with his father who had been shipwrecked as a boy on Pitcairn, Roy
arrived on the island at the age of 16. He quickly adapted to life on
Pitcairn, and as he got older, became an influential leader of the community.
Because of his superior American education, he became island schoolmaster and
an elder in the church. He also became quite well known as Postmaster of
Pitcairn for many years.¹ He was Postmaster & Teacher.¹

     Ralph Chester Young was born on 19 October 1911 at Pitcairn Island.¹ He is the son of Roy Palmer Clark and Evelyn May Young.¹
     Owned one of the only cameras on Pitcairn. His family has many old pictures.¹

     Bernice Viola Juanita Young was born on 19 January 1899 at Pitcairn Island.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Herbert Young and Adella Schmidt.¹ She married John Lorenzo Christian, son of Gerard Robert Bromley Christian and Helen Amelia Jane Christian, at Pitcairn Island.¹ She died on 26 December 1993 at age 94 at Pitcairn Island.¹
     Her married name became Christian.¹ On 6 September 1994 an area in the Aute Valley, a large flat area on the southeast side of Pitcairn Island, previously owned by Bernice and John, was designated as the Bernice Christian Memorial Park.¹

     John Lorenzo Christian was born on 15 July 1895 at Pitcairn Island.¹ He was the son of Gerard Robert Bromley Christian and Helen Amelia Jane Christian.¹ He married Bernice Viola Juanita Young, daughter of Arthur Herbert Young and Adella Schmidt, at Pitcairn Island.¹ He died on 28 June 1984 at age 88 at Pitcairn Island.¹
     John Lorenzo Christian held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1952 and 1954.² He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1960 and 1966.²
     In 1980, he and his wife were the oldest couple on Pitcairn (ages 85 and 81). They are pictured on pages 518-519 of Howard: Pitcairn and Norfolk, National Geographic, Oct 1983.³

     Gladys Christine Young was born on 29 November 1904 at Pitcairn Island.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Herbert Young and Adella Schmidt.¹ She died on 9 April 1937 at age 32 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.¹
