     Robert Blennerhassett is the son of Thomas Blennerhassett.1 He married Elisabeth Conway, daughter of Captain Jenkin Conway.2 He died before 1654.2
     Robert Blennerhassett held the office of Provost of Tralee, the first.2 Between 1611 and 1618 he acquired lands in Ireland, including Ballyseedy Castle.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tralee in 1613.2 He acquired a perpetual lease circa 1620 for Ballyshiddy Castle, Ballyseedy, County Kerry, Ireland.2 He was the advowson at Ballyseedy, County Kerry, Ireland, in 1622.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tralee between 1635 and 1639.2 He lived at Ballycarty Castle, Ballyseedy, County Kerry, Ireland.2
