     John Mills was born in 1793 at Pitcairn Island.1 He was the son of John Mills and Vahineatua (?).1 He died in 1814 at Pitcairn Island.1
     Johnny came to his death by an awful fall from a high, rocky cliff, where he had gone in search of birds' eggs. His injuries were such that he died before he could be conveyed to his home.2
