     Major John Lloyd Maunsell-Thomas was the son of Rev. Canon unknown Thomas.1 He married Margaret Frances Vere Brodie, daughter of Hugh Fife Ashley Brodie, 23rd of Brodie and Lady Eleanor Reynolds-Moreton, on 18 October 1922.1 He died on 21 September 1948.1
     Major John Lloyd Maunsell-Thomas gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Engineers.1
