     Thomas Brooke was the son of Richard Brooke.1 He married, firstly, Anne Tuchet, daughter of Henry Tuchet, 10th Lord Audley (of Heleigh). He married, secondly, Elizabeth Merbury, daughter of unknown Merbury.1 He married, thirdly, Elinore Gerard.1 He died in 1622.1
     Thomas Brooke held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire in 1578.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire in 1592.1
     He was the ancestor of the Brookes of Norton by his first wife, the Brookes of Dromavana by his second wife and of the Brookes of Mere by his third wife.1
