     Lieutenant Bernard Willoughby was the son of Reverend Nesbit Edward Willoughby.1 He married Elizabeth Jane Delves Broughton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Delves Broughton and Violet Carnegie Anstey, on 14 July 1940.1 He died in March 1942, killed in action over Java.1
     Lieutenant Bernard Willoughby gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
