     Violet Carnegie Anstey was the daughter of H. Anstey.1 She married, firstly, Talbot Dean-Pitt before 1913.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Delves Broughton, son of Lt.-Col. Delves Broughton and Edith Mary Marion Riall, on 1 September 1913.1 She died on 14 October 1938.1
     From before 1913, her married name became Dean-Pitt.1 From 1 September 1913, her married name became Broughton.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Peter John Delves Broughton was born on 22 June 1915.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Delves Broughton and Violet Carnegie Anstey.1 He married, firstly, Nancy Rosemary Paterson, daughter of J. E. Paterson, on 28 December 1940.1 He and Nancy Rosemary Paterson were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Evelyn Gunn Sutherland, daughter of J. G. Sutherland, on 27 August 1948.1 He died on 10 February 1963 at age 47.1,2
     Lt.-Cdr. Peter John Delves Broughton fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1
