     Peter Nicholas Broun was born in 1797.1 He was the son of William Broun and Nancy Mainguy.1 He married Caroline Simpson, daughter of James Simpson, in 1824.1 He died in 1846.1
     Peter Nicholas Broun held the office of Colonial Secretary of Swan River.1
     He also had five daughters.1
