     John Alan Fairlie Bruce was born on 13 May 1926.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. Alan Cathcart Fairlie Bruce and Barbara Clarributt Skinner.¹ He married Joyce Edna Soffe, daughter of George Soffe, on 12 April 1950.¹ He died in December 2001 at age 75.¹

     Joyce Edna Soffe is the daughter of George Soffe.¹ She married John Alan Fairlie Bruce, son of Lt.-Cdr. Alan Cathcart Fairlie Bruce and Barbara Clarributt Skinner, on 12 April 1950.¹
     From 12 April 1950, her married name became Bruce. She lived in 2003 at Beechbrook, 16 Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Iain Alasdair Fairlie Bruce was born on 30 May 1954.¹ He is the son of John Alan Fairlie Bruce and Joyce Edna Soffe.¹ He married Maria Esperanza Sanchez on 6 July 1994.¹
