     Lt.-Col. Malcolm Edward Lloyd Bruce was born on 12 February 1872.1 He was the son of Colonel Elliott Armstrong Bruce and Mary Rebecca Dawson.1 He married Clementina Blyth Dalzel, daughter of W. F. B. Dalzel, on 21 October 1903.1 He died on 15 March 1952 at age 80.1
     Lt.-Col. Malcolm Edward Lloyd Bruce gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Indian Army.1

     Clementina Blyth Dalzel was the daughter of W. F. B. Dalzel.1 She married Lt.-Col. Malcolm Edward Lloyd Bruce, son of Colonel Elliott Armstrong Bruce and Mary Rebecca Dawson, on 21 October 1903.1 She died in 1958.1
     From 21 October 1903, her married name became Bruce.
