     Major Ralph Esmé Stuart was born on 9 April 1869.1 He was the son of Charles Pole Stuart and Anne Smyth.1 He married, firstly, Beatrice Kitchin, daughter of John Kitchin, on 30 April 1907.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Thompson, daughter of Samuel Thompson, on 25 February 1919.1 He died on 27 October 1927 at age 58.1
     Major Ralph Esmé Stuart gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Garrison Artillery.1
