     Dame Miriam Louisa Rothschild was born on 5 August 1908.1 She is the daughter of Nathaniel Charles Rothschild and Rozsika von Wertheimstein.2 She married Captain George Lane, son of Ernest Lanyi, on 14 August 1943.1 She and Captain George Lane were divorced in 1957.1
