     Peter Cadogan was born on 23 February 1918.1 He is the son of John Cecil Cadogan and Ella Krafft.2 He married, firstly, Joan Banbury, daughter of Rear-Admiral Frederick Arthur Frith Banbury, on 30 July 1940.1 He and Joan Banbury were divorced in 1955.1 He married, secondly, Pamela Mary Burman, daughter of Alexander Henry Burman, on 25 July 1955.1 He died on 24 June 1962 at age 44.1
     Peter Cadogan was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, with SHAEF.1
