Brig.-Gen. Patrick Henry Curtis Carew was born on 31 March 1931.1 He is the son of Thomas Alfred Curtis Carew and Christina Hanna.2 He married Norma Diane Willcox, daughter of Claude Rupert Methune Willcox, on 21 August 1954.1
Brig.-Gen. Patrick Henry Curtis Carew was commissioned in 1948, in the service of the British Columbia Dragoons.1 He was educated at Manitoba University, Manitoba, Canada.1 He was decorated with the Canadian Forces Decoration (C.D.) in 1963.1 He was a lay reader at Cathedral of St. Michael and All Angels (Anglican), Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1980 in the service of the Royal Canadians Dragoons.1 He was Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel between 1987 and 1990.1 He was Colonel of the Royal Canadians Dragoons between 1990 and 1993.1 He lived in 2003 at 1070 Sunnyside Road, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.1
