     Eleanor May Guggenheim was the daughter of Solomon R. Guggenheim.2 She married Arthur Stuart, 7th Earl Castle Stewart, son of Andrew John Stuart, 6th Earl Castle Stewart and Emma Georgiana Diana Stevens, on 16 December 1920 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.3 She died in 1992.1
      From 16 December 1920, her married name became Stuart. As a result of her marriage, Eleanor May Guggenheim was styled as Countess Castle Stewart on 7 November 1921.

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Scots Guards.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was an assistant master between 1963 and 1978 at King's School, Canterbury, Kent, England.1 He was a writer.1
