     Daphne Victoria Catherine Pollock was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Archibald Henry Pollock.2 She married Major Alan Reginald Cathcart, son of Major Frederick Adrian Cathcart and Margaret Cecil Anne Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 5 April 1934.1 She died in 1993.1
     From 5 April 1934, her married name became Cathcart.

     Charles Alan Cathcart was born on 1 April 1940.1 He was the son of Major Alan Reginald Cathcart and Daphne Victoria Catherine Pollock.2 He married Carol Ann Jenner, daughter of A. E. Jenner, in 1973.1 He died in 2004.3
     Charles Alan Cathcart was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.1 He lived in 2003 at Culraven, Borgue, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.1
